Tom Watson said this about his friend Bruce Edwards' fight against ALS while playing in the Jeld-Wen Tradition in 2003. It was the last time Tom won with Bruce on his bag: “This is one of those tests you go through; it’s not a test for myself, but there is somebody I love who is going through a hard, seemingly dead-end time. But I don’t want it to end, and I will do everything in my power to raise funds and the awareness and not leave any detail unturned so I can help Bruce survive this.”
